Holocaust Memorial Day

PLEASE READ – Take some time out of your day to reflect.

We would be grateful if this information could be shared with everyone that would like to participate.

Holocaust Memorial Day – 27th January

Holocaust Memorial Day (HMD) falls on 27th January every year. HMD is a time for reflecting on specific events in the past and thinking about how we as communities, individuals and organisations stand up to discrimination, racism and hatred.

Holocaust Memorial Day is a day to remember the six million Jews murdered during the holocaust, alongside millions of people from other groups persecuted by the Nazis. It is also a time to commemorate people killed in subsequent genocides.

Join in and light a candle in memory of all these people who lost their lives as well as against hated and prejudice today.

At 8pm on 27 January people across the UK will take part in a national moment for HMD by lighting candles and safely putting them in their windows.

HMD have me and my brother participating again this year as part of their awareness campaign video.

Thank you for your time.
