Kew Gardens
During October half term I went with my family to Kew Gardens for a day out. If you are a Blue Peter badge holder like me you also get in free! I would recommend a visit here as there was so many different plants and trees; I loved spending the day here in nature.
The main highlights for me were;
- The Children's Garden, which is designed for children to play and learn about plants and nature. The family café was amazing!
- Walk on the Treetop Walkway, which offers a bird's-eye view of the gardens. This was so cool and scary at the same time.
- We also explored the Natural Area, which consists of 37 acres of classic woodland and wilder landscape. There is a lot for children to explore within the Natural Area, from the Woodland Walk to the Log Trail to the Bug Hotels.
